Why Tour With Us

Someone else drives. Everything else is yours.

The difference between a good day in wine country and a forgettable one is almost never the wine. It is whether the day belonged to you: whether you could spend a little longer at a cellar door you liked or enjoy an unhurried lunch, where the agreed booking duration and schedule allow.

Our Private Wine Tours are chauffeur-driven, door-to-door and flexible around the day you want. Many guests come to us with their own itinerary, which we are happy to follow. If you would like help shaping the route, choosing suitable stops or arranging reservations, LORQEN can assist on request.

No fixed circuit. No shared minibus. No shared timetable.

How It Works

Four steps to a private day in wine country.

  1. Tell us about the day

Share your date, group size, pickup location and planned itinerary, if you already have one.

  2. We confirm the journey

We review the route, timing and vehicle requirements and provide a fixed written price. Most enquiries are answered the same day where possible.

  3. Need help planning?

If you would like assistance with the itinerary, wineries, tastings or lunch reservations, we can help on request.

  4. Your chauffeur takes it from there

We follow the agreed itinerary and keep the day running smoothly from pickup to return. Your chauffeur can assist with loading purchases where safe and practical.

Before You Book

Questions we get asked most.

Four to five on a full day is the comfortable number, enough to see real variety without the tastings blurring together. Half days suit two or three.

Private Wine Tours suit couples and smaller private groups, bringing their own itinerary for LORQEN to follow or asking us to help shape the route. Group Wine Tour | Transport Only is for larger private parties travelling together on their own planned winery itinerary. Tastings, meals and venue charges are not included unless specifically stated in your written quotation.

Yes. Luggage space varies by vehicle, so let LORQEN know roughly how much you expect to bring back. For larger purchases, let us know in advance so we can consider luggage space when arranging the vehicle.

Yes, within the wine regions. Our chauffeurs start from Adelaide, so we can collect you from accommodation in the Adelaide Hills, Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale or Clare Valley, with travel to your pickup point included in your written quote. For pickups anywhere else, please call us on +61 406 135 135.

Where the booking schedule allows, you can stay longer at a venue and your chauffeur can adjust the rest of the day accordingly.

Yes, depending on the regions and the length of your booking. McLaren Vale and the Adelaide Hills can work well together, and the Barossa can sometimes be combined with the Hills. McLaren Vale and the Barossa in one day means considerably more travel time, so we may recommend against it.
